These obligations add time and costs to the psychiatric process for minors compared to adult psychiatry. It is best practice where possible to gather and provide all previous reports, letters, and medical investigations before your consultation to reduce appointment numbers and related costs. This €850 fee covers a thorough, expert-led evaluation to ensure the best possible care for your child. It includes: ✔Detailed Case Review: Comprehensive review of all reports, letters, and medical investigations before your initial consultation. ✔Consultations with past or present healthcare providers where necessary ✔1-Hour Online Consultation including: ✔Parents & Child Together – Initial discussion ✔Parents Only – Understanding concerns ✔Child Only – Individual assessment ✔Feedback with parents & patient ✔ Detailed Psychiatric Letter & Treatment Plan: Shared with your GP for continuity of care. ✔ Ongoing Care Coordination: Organising further appointments/ consultations and managing your child’s ongoing healthcare team. *Medications for minors (only if appropriate) requires parental consent and a follow up appointment (30 minutes €380).
